Making Bristol's food more brilliant

The FoodTrade team are excited to announce a new mover and shaker on the Bristol food scene…Welcome to #FoodTradeTuesday!

Not like just any Tuesday, this one’s a definite date for your diary, a Tuesday of all Tuesdays, a let’s-get-everyone-and-make-Bristol’s-food-more-brilliant kind of Tuesday.

Exciting, huh?

So. On Tuesday 17 June get yourself down to The Big Chill Bar at 6.30pm. Grab yourself a chilled beverage, park yourself down, and let’s finally meet the faces behind the names of Bristol’s food scene.

And why, we hear you ask, do we need another darn foodie event in Bristol? Well, we need folk in the food world to get personal. We all need to know who’s who and who’s what and where’s what so we can collaborate and make stuff happen.

The #FoodTradeTuesday programme:

6.30pm – Get yourself a drink or a bite to eat
7.00pm – Introduction from FoodTrade
7.10pm – Introducing Grow Bristol
7.15pm – Introducing Friska
7.20pm – 5 x 1 min pitch sessions – tell us about your best ideas
7.25pm – Some questions for the break
7.40pm – Group discussion
8.00pm – Free swim**!

Numbers are limited to this event so RSVP quick!

So whether your a chef, urban farmer or cafe owner*, swing by and tell us what you want to eat/sell/grow/cook/buy, and where you want that food coming from. If you’d like to take one of these 1-minute pitch slots, please drop us a line comms@foodtrade.com
